Another Idle RPG anyone?
I will be looking for potential testers once I get it on the play store 👀 I will need 12 apparently before it can go actually live. So if you do like an Idle RPG give me a shout and I'll hook up when ready. At the moment I'm just trying to wrap my head around pixel art. Who knew trying to draw in a 64x64 pixel square would be so damn difficult. All I want to do is draw a log 🫠

What Was Your First Anime?
Neon Genesis Evangelion was my first proper anime. I remember I went back to a mates house after school, he was proper into all this anime stuff, i'd never seen so much in one room at that age, he then suggested watching that, I was hooked. Watched that, then started on Bleach. Other than that I watched Dragonball Z and Pokemon as a kid

Another Idle RPG anyone?
So, I'm currently in the depths of making yet another Idle RPG game, it's like all the others out there but I mean, its an Idle RPG what do you expect. I couldn't find one that scratched a specific itch, all those Idle RPG details and dungeons, but with puzzles thrown in. Now there is dungeon crawlers for mobile out there which do have puzzles, and there's plenty of Idle RPG games which have heavy community focus, but not both specifically, or not that I could find, there's IdleOn and Idle Clans but I'm trying to meet in the middle with those two. So that's where my Isles of Idle comes in. So far I have your gathering skills (wood/fish/mine), your crafting skills (cook/smelt/smith/brew), fighting enemies, world events/bosses (FATEs and B-SS rank mobs with varying spawns for rarity, thanks FF14 for the idea) which you get seals from for cool items, dungeons that either have enemy rooms or puzzle rooms (riddles/pair/match weight), got a shop where you can spend your gold on gear/items/upgrades, obviously your backpack, eventually will have a party system so can get boosted xp, help with mobs/dungeons/world events, got calendar events in there, admin XP events which I can just turn on whenever. All of this is just ran locally offline on my phone, no servers or multiplayer yet, but I'm actually having fun with it. It's a react native app built with Expo. If you do play games on your phone, and you do happen to like Idle RPGs or anything of the sort, what would you want to see in there?

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
What was Wenger thinking sending Walcott on that early?

Final Fantasy XIV
The free trial is so much more. Its the base game, plus 3 expansions. Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers (My top xpac), just missing Endwalker and Dawntrail from being subbed. Evercold coming out next year! No game time limit, play till you hit the barrier. No job limit AFAIK, you can try them all. I think it's level 80 max, current max is 100 subbed. I think the only limit is no DMs, no marketboard, and a cap on your Gil, that's it.

Hello there
Ahh I can imagine, I'd love to go over there and see the card scene! Yeah its rough these days, has been for a long time as you know, luckily I got friendly with a card shop around here and he sells just below market on some stuff, but then other stuff he ramps up which I dont fully agree with, but hey its a business, gotta keep the lights on somehow.

Final Fantasy XIV
Ive been an on and off player since heavensward, i personally find it an amazing MMO and theres no signs of it stopping. A couple of expansions have been absolute dog but the rest make up for it by far. The majority of the community is super friendly and helpful, you still have toxic players, then you have the group of ERP'ers, i try to stick away from that side. The free trial is definitely worth looking at as you get so much content before even getting a sub, its crazy.

Hello there
Currently I'm mainly on the ol' Pokemon either set collecting or collecting to play, alongside some MTG. There's a big game shop opening near us in the next few months so would love to get back into actually playing either really. Never collected YuGiOh, I have a few which were given to me but I never dove in and carried on.

Watching Anything Interesting?
If you're into sorta psychological horror style, the show "From" is fantastic. Didn't have high hopes when I started it but each episode grabs you and you just end up binging to find out what happens. Love it.

Hello there
I'd reserve that title for someone for worthy, I'm more of a traveller moving from one game to the next, never really settling (excluding Destiny, that things had me in its grips for almost 12 years now) Although I do carry around a Pot of Greed with me just in case I do come across Yugi 😂 which allows me to draw 3 additional cards!

Minimal pesky things I've found
Not being a pain but when scooting through the website I found a few things, minimal and do not impact the site really, but just to keep things clean, thought to raise them: - Help & Support description: “Encountered and error" - and instead of an - TV & Movies description: “What to discuss…” - Should it be "Want" instead? - Other Anime description: “anything anything else” - Blog category called Litestyle - I guess its supposed to be Lifestyle but I could be wrong - In the Privacy policy it says Last Updated: 17/07/2025 (17th July 2026) - two conflicting dates 🫢 In the blogs section, it shows GamesForumX as having 2 posts, but clicking it shows none, unsure if they're just hidden but still counted ChatPro as a guest gets a 500 error and "A configuration or server error has occurred" as the page title, page works as intended for guests not being able to chat, but again, little things. In the thread share section, reddit share isn't broken but if screen reader was being used it would potentially read the reddit share wrong due to a missing "}" <span class="ipsInvisible">{lang="reddit_text"</span>Other minor things No meta description on the homepage, not breaking but a nice to have if you want it for search engines or link shares I can't remember seeing a cookie banner when first visiting, I cant remember if its a requirement or not. I know it's linked on the footer though. ---------- That's all from me, just little bits I noticed. From your local friendly pain in the behind user :)

Hello there
Hey, UmbraVigil here but I go by many other names in the gaming world and social sides. Im a massive gamer, basically born into it as my parents were gaming on the commodore 64 and mega drive, grandparents had the original pong machine, so its been a big thing for my life. First console i played on was the mega drive, sensible soccer and sonic were the main ones, then moved to a Sega saturn. From there we went through gameboys, xboxs, pcs. My first multiplayer instance was on counterstrike 1.6 lan with my dad and bots, was a great laugh. These days I spend a lot of time on my PC playing Destiny 2, I cant let it go even though its over. Other than that just a variety of games, from chill to sports, to fps and 4x. Just dabble in a bit of it all. Outside of gaming, love my guitars, love a dabble of coding, and playing with AI and seeing what weird and wonderful creations I can make, so far I've got a household mood sharer app, pre-grading system for TCGs, discord bots, just good fun to do.
