Hey, UmbraVigil here but I go by many other names in the gaming world and social sides.

Im a massive gamer, basically born into it as my parents were gaming on the commodore 64 and mega drive, grandparents had the original pong machine, so its been a big thing for my life.

First console i played on was the mega drive, sensible soccer and sonic were the main ones, then moved to a Sega saturn. From there we went through gameboys, xboxs, pcs. My first multiplayer instance was on counterstrike 1.6 lan with my dad and bots, was a great laugh.

These days I spend a lot of time on my PC playing Destiny 2, I cant let it go even though its over. Other than that just a variety of games, from chill to sports, to fps and 4x. Just dabble in a bit of it all.

Outside of gaming, love my guitars, love a dabble of coding, and playing with AI and seeing what weird and wonderful creations I can make, so far I've got a household mood sharer app, pre-grading system for TCGs, discord bots, just good fun to do.

Given what you've said there maybe we should refer to you as The King of Games! (Move over Yugi) 😄

I'd reserve that title for someone for worthy, I'm more of a traveller moving from one game to the next, never really settling (excluding Destiny, that things had me in its grips for almost 12 years now)

Although I do carry around a Pot of Greed with me just in case I do come across Yugi 😂 which allows me to draw 3 additional cards!

God I miss how you gi oh used to be played, this current rule set goes straight over my head

What cards do you collect?

Currently I'm mainly on the ol' Pokemon either set collecting or collecting to play, alongside some MTG. There's a big game shop opening near us in the next few months so would love to get back into actually playing either really. Never collected YuGiOh, I have a few which were given to me but I never dove in and carried on.

Ahh I can imagine, I'd love to go over there and see the card scene!

Yeah its rough these days, has been for a long time as you know, luckily I got friendly with a card shop around here and he sells just below market on some stuff, but then other stuff he ramps up which I dont fully agree with, but hey its a business, gotta keep the lights on somehow.

Card scene is massive but chill, not toxic like here and the states

I hate reselling but as you said, he's got to keep the lights on
