Anyone else remember the SPORE games? I remember looking forward to this... I find myself unable to play it for too long as it's just... Meh. The most interesting stage (Creature) gets tedious quick, and the rest of the game is just a clicking simulator. While the only thing that keeps you going is the promise of being able to build your own stuff tanks, boats, ships and everything else... Though while not a common feeling... I really enjoyed Dark Spore, not perfect but it's a fun to play with mates, a looter dungeon crawler that rewards you for chaining stages together for better loot. I never played the hand held games though, 😮

I remember when I first got a computer and found out there were games that could be played with people all cross the world. My first online game was ToonTown Online by Disney. Despite it looking the bit goofy it was quite a decent tactics game, plenty of situations and boss fights where if you didn't work together with your team you'd just lose. (Ofcourse it's closed now. I think there are private servers of it, never really deeply played any.)

Dunno if anyone else has every heard of played this game but it's my favourite online game ever. It's an online RTS game where you summon units, construct towers and cast spells using a deck of cards you put together before round. You've got 4 primary elements (nature, fire, frost and shadow) and hybrid factions that require you to use two different elements. It was originally published by EA... But we know what EA is like... They destroy everything we hold dear... I was sooo happy when I found a private server was set up for the game called Skylords Reborn. 😄
